We encourage you to attend one of our campus recruiting events where you'll be able to talk with our business representatives, ask questions and get a better understanding of who we are and what we do. Although BlackRock does not recruit on every campus, we consider all applicants and encourage everyone to apply online.

Analyst and Associates

Students who will be graduating with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree are eligible for our Analyst/Associate Program. But unlike other employers, who offer two-year programs, BlackRock offers a career.

Full-time program participants attend a first-class orientation – a thorough overview of the organization followed by business-specific training, a crash course on the financial markets and an analysis of BlackRock’s strategic positioning in the marketplace.

Program participants will continue to benefit from ongoing investment management training opportunities through BlackRock University, which offers a wide array of classroom and e-learning modules to help them achieve their professional goals. Formalized learning programs and financial support are also provided in pursuit of all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) examination in the US and the Investment Management Certification (IMC) in the UK.

Summer Internship Program

Our ten-week Summer Internship Program provides high-potential college students in their penultimate year with a challenging, meaningful and supportive opportunity to learn about finance and asset management while gaining valuable hands-on experience. Limited internship opportunities are available to underclassmen.

Internship program participants attend a one-day orientation which provides a thorough overview of the organization and features prominent speakers, including many of BlackRock’s senior leaders. The program includes a weekly senior speaker series, a team portfolio competition, mentoring, and informal networking activities with BlackRock professionals.

As BlackRock’s internship program is the primary feeder to the Analyst and Associate programs, our goal is to identify qualified students who are interested in becoming full-time BlackRock employees upon graduation.
